-What a shame. I had a really good race, but was hit by another car. Now I'm at the hospital in Belgium and maybe I can't drive at Le Mans, this years highlight for me, TC said after the race.
Thor-Christian Ebbesvik and his teammates, Karium Ojjeh and Tim Greaves in Team Bruichladdich, had some good practice times in the LMP2-class before Sundays race in Le Mans Series at Spa. But during the qualifying they blew their engine, and had to start last.
-But I had a good start from 50th on the grid, and was number thirteen, and was one of the fastest in LMP2. But then the accident happen, and we had to retire. It was very painful for me, and I hope the fracture is not so bad that I miss Le Mans. I will do some more checks the next days and hope to be ready. But I have to be careful.
Lamy, Bourdais and Pagenaud won the chaotic race in their Peugeot, while Amaral and Pla won the LMP2-class.
